HACCP Course

This 3 day course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of HACCP and its application in food production. Participants will gain the skills and knowledge to develop and implement HACCP based Food Safety Programs for their business. This course is suitable for those leading or participating in HACCP teams.

Nationally Recognised Training

Upon successful completion of the 3 day course and a workplace project, participants will be awarded the following unit of competency: 

       FDFCORFSY2A   Implement food safety program procedures (Food Safety Supervisor unit -                                      Food Processing sector)

       FDFFSCHZA        Identify, evaluate and control food safety hazards

       FDFOPTHCP3A  Participate in a HACCP team

       HLTFS311B       Develop food safety programs

       HLTFS309B       Oversee the day-to-day implementation of food safety in the workplace                                         (Food Safety Supervisor unit - Health sector only)

       HLTFS310B       Apply and monitor food safety requirements Food Safety Supervisor unit -                                      Health sector only)

 

 

Prerequisite:          HLTFS207B Follow basic food safety procedures or equivalent training or                                        certificate demonstrating competence in basic food handling skills and                                            knowledge.
