This 1½ hour course is a mixture of serious information (food handler responsibilities) and fun activities (Glitterbug-seeing the bugs on your hands) aimed at reinforcing critical food hygiene knowledge and skills for food handlers.

Each year the content of the course changes enabling a focus on current food safety issues together with practical training relating to new procedures or changes to the facility’s food safety program.

This course does not include formal assessment or the issuing of a Statement of Attainment.
