Infocus Management Group was established in August 2003 with the merger of two businesses; James C Smith & Associates, which had been operating as a public health consultancy since June 1989 and Trainingways, a food safety training company.

Public Health Consultancy Services

Our public health consultancy services are concerned with assisting organisations in performing their public health role including government and community based organisations. Services include:

Review, development and facilitation of local government sector, public and environmental health policies and strategies;
Environmental Health Planning and project management with specialisation in sustainable waste water management;
Health and human service evaluation, including the independent assessment of health and human services provided by organisations. Assessments consist of analyses of workforce; budget; quality standards; clients’ needs; management and planning; and service specification development
Professional Development Services including the development of programs to structure formal learning and facilitate development of competence and corporate capacity building.

Infocus Management Group provides specialist food safety management and training services to aged care corporations and facilities, multi-site hospitality enterprises, event managers, retail franchises, childcare centres and food manufacturers. Our services include:
